As communicated, the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is a very important initiative to improve the care Wellcare provides their members.
Did you know that compliantly, agents are permitted to assist a new member with completing the HRA at point-of-sale when an electronic application was used as the method for enrollment? To provide a more seamless approach to collecting completed HRAs at point-of-sale, Wellcare has developed an online portal for agents to assist new members with the HRA.
IMPORTANT: If a paper application was used as the method for enrollment, it is NOT COMPLIANT to assist the new member with the HRA until post-effective date of their coverage.
Further, HRAs completed on the portal for electronically submitted DSNP applications are eligible for a one-time administrative payment of $20. These will be paid near the end of the month that follows the coverage effective date.
In order to have access to the HRA portal, you must complete a portal registration. Please see the HRA Portal Guide for detailed steps on registering for the portal.
Additionally, the SM Completing HRAs in the Revel Web Portal training is also available within WellCare University. The course will provide you an overview of accessing the portal and the steps to complete the electronic HRA.
