As a reminder, WellCare’s 2020 Annual Certification Training (ACT) is scheduled to release today, July 9th! Per the certification process, agents are enrolled in ACT once contracting is complete. Completing 2020 ACT will fulfill the ACT requirement to market/sell both 2019 and 2020 WellCare products. Note: In order to market/sell 2019 MeridianCareCare products, agents must complete the 2019 MeridianCare certification requirements through Miramar (Sentinel Elite).
Once enrolled, you will receive an enrollment email with subject line SM 2020 ACT – 1099 prompting you to login to WellCare University to complete.
Agents have up to three attempts to pass the exam with a minimum score of 85%. After each failed attempt, there is a lock out period of 24 hours before the training can be re-accessed and the mastery exam can be attempted again. Failure to pass the third attempt will result in a suspended status for 6-months.

America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) – Reminder
Completion of AHIP training is required to obtain a certified status to market/sell WellCare plans. Consider the following when working toward the completion of the AHIP requirement:
- 2020 AHIP is available and will suffice to market/sell both 2019 and 2020 WellCare products.
- WellCare does not accept other Medicare fraud, waste and abuse training such as Pinpoint or Gorman Medicare Advantage annual certification training.

Transmitting completed AHIP to WellCare is easy! Simply login to your AHIP account using the WellCare/AHIP co-branded and click Transmit next to WellCare (1099). Important! To connect your WellCare University account and your AHIP account, you must use the co-branded link to transmit your completed AHIP for the first time.
