Plans C and F (and Part B deductible rider in WI) will no longer be available for sale to newly eligible clients whose Medicare Part A is effective date is January 1, 2020 or later. These plans (C and F, and Part B deductible rider in WI) are available for clients whose Medicare Part A was effective prior to January 1, 2020, provided the plans are available for sale in their state.
Revised applications, OOCs, and brochures will be available on the portal as of July 1, 2019.
The revised applications must be used as of July 1, 2019 for newly eligible applicants. Any non-revised applications received for newly eligible applicants after July 1, 2019 will need to be resubmitted.
NOTE: In the states IN and NC, the revisions for MACRA are still pending. Please be advised that you will not be able to sell plans C or F to clients who first become eligible for Medicare on or after January 1, 2020. Clients who are eligible for Medicare prior to January 1, 2020 can continue to purchase plans C or F.

NGL’s Medicare Supplement premium rates for Alabama, California, Colorado, Iowa, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Rhode Island will increase on July 1, 2019.
Remember, rates have already increased in the following states: Nevada, Indiana, Kentucky, Utah, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and West Virginia.
Letters to existing policyholders regarding the rate adjustments will be mailed from the NGL office and will take effect after the required notification period has elapsed.
All New Business applications signed and dated on the day prior to effective dates, or before should use the current premiums. Applications signed and dated on or after each state’s respective effective date must use the new premium rates.
