Quality Report’s definitions updated
Great Western Insurance Company (GWIC®) has added two terms to the Final Expense Quality Report’s glossary to help you track the progress of your business. They are:
- Pending issue: applications that have been entered into GWIC’s systems but have not yet been approved.
- Pending taken: applications that have been issued and have not been terminated, but the effective date of the policy is in the future and/or GWIC has not yet received premium.

Holiday hours reminder
GWIC’s office will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
They will resume regular business hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
