As communicated, the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is a very important initiative to improve the care Wellcare provides their members. Did you know that compliantly, agents are permitted to assist a new member with completing the HRA at point-of-sale when an electronic application was used as the method for enrollment? To provide a more seamless approach to collecting completed HRAs at point-of-sale, Wellcare has developed an online portal for agents to assist new members with the HRA. IMPORTANT: If a paper application was used as the method for enrollment, it is NOT COMPLIANT to assist the new member with the HRA until post-effective date of their coverage.
