IMPORTANT NOTICE: Change to SureBridge Product Availability in New Mexico Effective July 2, 2021, SureBridge Supplemental products will no longer be marketed in New Mexico. The SureBridge GetWell Plans will continue to be available. If a New Mexico customer is interested in purchasing a SureBridge supplemental product, the application MUST be completed, signed (by both the customer AND the agent) and submitted NO LATER than July 01, 2021. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted. Current New Mexico customers with SureBridge products are not affected by this change.

Pennie Website Scheduled Maintenance Pennie’s website will be down for scheduled maintenance from 6 pm Wednesday, June 2nd through Sunday, June 6th. During this time, the application and shopping processes/platforms will be closed to customers, brokers, agents, and insurers. Access to these functions and platforms will resume on Monday, June 7th. The purpose of this scheduled maintenance is for Pennie to run APTC eligibility redeterminations and loading updated savings to consumers’ accounts as a result of the American Rescue Plan Act. COVID-19 Cost Sharing Extensions Highmark announced an extension of cost-sharing waivers for members on in-network, inpatient hospital care for COVID-19 until December 31, 2021. Communication to be sent to off-exchange individual Marketplace members When the American Rescue Plan was signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021, it included enhanced federal funding through tax credits to help individuals and families get lower cost health care coverage through the Marketplace. Some members who did not qualify previously, may now be eligible for these savings, which can significantly lower the cost of their monthly premiums. The off-exchange individual Marketplace members will receive a communication on or around May 12, 2021 from UPMC Health Plan notifying them of this potential cost saving opportunity.
