As you are aware, effective October 1, 2020, Envision Insurance Company (EIC) is terminating its existing contracts with its network of Brokers, Agents, and Agencies. In order to receive renewal commissions, normally paid out in full in January each year, Brokers/Agents have to remain compliant as per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In order to remain compliant, you will need to complete a certification process to upload your 2021 AHIP. Soon, you will receive an email from EnvisionAgentSupport that contains a link for you to certify as well as a Service Only Agreement indicating your agreement to continue servicing members you enrolled and who remain in Envision/Elixir’s plan. UnitedHealthcare has announced an individualized glucose management pilot program with DexCom, Inc. The pilot will use wearable technology to help people with Type 2 diabetes in some Medicare Advantage (MA) plans manage their condition in real time. The program is being showcased this week at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the annual technology convention in Las Vegas.
