An extension of assistance from UPMC Health Plan to our Small Market business clients impacted by COVID-19

COVID-19 has impacted many of UPMC’s commercial group clients.  To continue supporting you, they are pleased to inform you that they are extending no-fee reinstatements and no-credit card fees until September 30, 2021.  To provide time to prepare, please note that this will be the final extension.

No-Fee Credit Card Payments
UPMC will be waiving all fees associated with credit card payments for premium through September 30, 2021.

No-Fee Reinstatements
For any eligible group that experiences a coverage lapse through September 30, 2021 and requests reinstatement within 30 days, UPMC will waive any fees associated with policy reinstatements that occur within 30 days.*

*Past due premiums must be paid in full to effectuate reinstatement.

*Eligible groups include existing fully-insured medical clients with less than 500 employees.
