Advertising Guidelines for 2019!
As a reminder, their advertising guidelines apply to all advertising media including print, email, websites, presentations etc., regardless of whether its purpose is for consumers or agents. Advertising is considered to be anything intended to generate public interest in an insurance product, company or agent. In order to advertise material using any of Cigna’s company names, logos or products, you must receive approval through their Compliance team before they are used.
- For advertisements you have created, please submit a copy of the ad along with the completed Advertising Material Request Form and allow a minimum of 10 business days for review.

All advertisements and forms should be submitted to CSBFieldComm@Cigna.com, or faxed to 512.590.6067. Advertisements with approvals are valid for 1 year from the date the ad is approved and can only be used in the states specified. To request continued use for the ad after 1 year, please resubmit the ad for review.
Violations of Cigna advertising guidelines may result in corrective actions, regulatory findings and/or other penalties against the insurer.
